PEGASUS - After a few weeks of conflict between the two alliances, Federation Underground and The Ebidium Dagger have signed a mutual peace agreement.
The agreement is now entirely loophole-free, yet still allows significant freedom of the two sides in regards of who they allow inside their space.
It's unsure if KAT and Dark Knights are also part of the treaty with regards to the "no-PvP combat" rule. By the looks of it, these two troublemaker alliances are not part of the treaty, at least not visibly. Time will tell what happens next. In the meantime, the involved alliances lick their wounds and Pegasus seems calm again... for now.

Untold Conflict, Part 3
Continuation of the backstory of Pegasus' conflict between Federation Underground and The Ebidium Dagger. This is the last part. For previous parts:
Untold Conflict, part 1
Untold Conflict, part 2
On the 6th of September, two days after the events in Sargas, a lot of movement was seen in the Empire Contingent. It was Miik Uzen, another Dark Knight pilot, with his squadrons. He got squadrons from the two DK-owned starbases in the PEC. Considering the PEC is governed by Crimson Dawn, this was considered a breach of several agreements, especially because the handweapons used to hire and supply the squadrons came from Crimson Dawn assets.
Miik Uzen started his assault from Baham and struck into Nhandu, Cebece, and Gomeisa. At about the same time, Pestilence started his assault into Quaack, resulting in TED being overwhelmed and attacked on two fronts. A total of 6 starbases were lost in the attack, but it could have been more, considering TED managed to successfully defend some starbases against all the odds. An estimate of 10 starbases were attacked in total that day.
Crimson Dawn was not pleased with the PEC being a source of the destruction in the PUC, so they did something extraordinary: Lace Wing (leader of CD) allowed a former imperial outlaw named Azul Thorn to lead half of the squadrons and destroy Miik Uzen's starbase in the PEC. Crimson Dawn also paid 50 million credits to TED as an apology. Both of these actions would be considered impossible one year ago, because TED and CD had a bad diplomatic relationship for a long time, and Azul got on the imperial outlaw list because he was involved in previous conflicts against the Empire.
Azul Thorn is also TED's squadron commander at this moment, and probably behind the strategic attack on Enif: The devastation in Quaack resulted in some spare squadrons that arrived too late to defend a base. These squadrons were used to launch a counteroffensive. They were sent on a perilous journey through the Pardus Core, and flew from Quaack straight into Enif at the heart of the PFC, where the squadrons attacked and destroyed two federal starbases belonging to Federation Underground.
Starbase combat cooled down quickly in the following days, but squadrons would still engage each other whenever possible.
About two weeks ago, another alliance got involved: E.D.F. (Earth Defense Force). An alliance based in the federal homecores, they decided to join in on the fray. Or rather, they wanted to stop it. They demanded an immediate ceasefire between the two warring parties. Not complying would mean getting on E.D.F.'s Kill on Sight list.
After some unbelief and hesitation which lead to some ambushes being cancelled, neither FU nor TED honored the sudden cease-fire demand, and E.D.F. now shoots both sides equally, but does not seem to be that invested in the whole ordeal. Maybe they still have a role to play.
The conflict is still ongoing, and no end is in sight. If there is going to be a real ceasefire, possibly a peace declaration, there are already theories that neither KAT nor DK should be allowed to own bases in the contingents anymore, as they both only seem to use them for their personal vendettas.
_________________________________________
In conclusion, this entire conflict was started because Miss Demeanor got the idea to attack two Sargas starbases... One pilot of a single alliance against two other alliances, which grew to become a conflict involving 6 alliances, and made waves across the entire Pardus Cluster.
That's the beauty of Pegasus... because it is smaller, each pilot has more influence. One person can make all the difference if they want to.
Good luck to the ones still fighting!

Untold Conflict, part 2
Continuation of the backstory of Pegasus' conflict between Federation Underground and The Ebidium Dagger.
Untold Conflict, part 1
After the agreement between FU and TED was declared void, TED tried to calm things down. Extensive discussions spawned on the public communication channels. FU said they blamed TED for the squadrons used in the Sargas attack, and were going to ambush in TED space, and saying if TED was smart, they would do the same to them. Skirmishes between FU and TED happen more often, with several pilots of both sides invading the other's territory.
Further peace talks did not yield results; FU remained mostly silent over private comms. This continued up until early September, when TED decided they had enough of the silence, and sent several squadrons from Quaack into Sargas in order to successfully capture the last standing starbase there. TED said they would give it back if peace talks could be started. They specifically wanted to capture, in order to save the resources.
Federation Underground responded, again in silence, by recapturing the base.
A tactical failure, but TED still had squadrons on the base. Unfortunately, the squadrons were running out of resources. TED gave a 12 hour ultimatum for FU to respond to their initial demand. The deadline is reached, and extended, reached again, and extended again.
Eventually, FU responds with "we want war".
TED now had all the right reasons to use their squadrons, and destroy the last remaining Sargas starbase. Of course not before raiding it.
A few hours afterwards, a lot of squadrons were seen moving around Sargas, owned by Pestilence, a Dark Knight pilot. Because these squadrons were of the Bomber type, it became apparent that FU and DK were planning for war all along: Bomber squadrons need ~24 hours of charging their systems before they are usable, the conclusion being that these squads were hired before TED attacked the Sargas base.
Considering the number of squadrons, a serious offense what at hand, TED prepared by hiring their own squadrons and secure Quaack. But then movement was seen in the Empire Contingent...

Untold Conflict, Part 1

Intergalactic politics here are always intriguing, complex, and tense. Someone, somewhere, is always planning something. And when such plans come to fruition... Pegasus makes some noise.
There is a terrific backstory behind the events that happened the last 2 months in Pegasus, which eventually led to an all-out war between two major alliances. This is a three-part coverage of this untold conflict explaining the events that happened.
Some viewer discretion is advised when reading this. Information presented here may be biased, because the information is coming from biased pilots in the conflict.
For many months there was an ongoing conflict: Dark Knights against The Ebidium Dagger, and KAT against Federation Underground. Dark Knights supports Federation Underground, and KAT supports TED. The exact reason behind this asymmetrical warfare is unclear. Relations between TED and FU were reasonably well despite the obvious proxy support. Some skirmishes, but not really intense. There was an agreement between the two alliances not to attack each other with squadrons, keeping things to just pilot vs pilot combat, and they steered mostly clear of each other.
Sometime before August, a pilot named "The Eraser" was a member of TED, and built a base in Labela, PUC. He then left TED to join KAT. This meant that KAT suddenly got a base in the PUC.
On the 12th of August, two starbases in Sargas were destroyed by Miss Demeanor, who is a pilot of KAT. It's a mystery where she got the squadrons from, but it's most likely from The Eraser's starbase, and/or from a starbase in the NPR. The only one who knows for sure is Miss Demeanor, and understandably she's cryptic about giving this information.
Her reason to attack? Mostly to provoke, to see if she could do it. They were at war with DK and FU for a long time now, and she wanted to up the ante.
KAT is an unique alliance in the sense that they are neutral, and their behaviour reminds of piracy, but they went way beyond simple piracy and are a serious military-strength threat to whoever they decide to attack.
In response, DK and FU teamed up to attack KAT in the PUC. They succeeded in killing Miss Demeanor, but met a lot of resistance from the local TED pilots, who defended their space from the intruders.
At this point Perpetual Anomaly, leader of TED, was worried about an escalation between FU and TED, and tried to initiate peace talks. TED claimed they had no knowledge of the attack. KAT echoed this, claiming to act on their own.
Later in August, Distant Shadow, the leader of Federation Underground, publicly blamed TED for the Sargas attack and declared their no-squadron agreement void.
